Project manager for AURORA seizmic KIC initiative at Copenhagen Business School

dato

Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a Project Manager for the AURORA seizmic KIC project, a two-year EIT HEI initiative connecting social entrepreneurship education, EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), and accelerator pathways across the AURORA European University Alliance. The position is open either at the level of a Postdoctoral Researcher position or a Research Assistant with relevant master’s degree and experience.

The project brings together nine European universities, EIT KICs, faculty members, innovation support units, and work package leaders to improve social entrepreneurship education and innovation ecosystems across Europe. The selected candidate will support coordination across all project partners and contribute to the implementation of project activities, reporting processes, stakeholder engagement, and institutional development efforts.

A central objective of the project is the further institutionalization and implementation of the seizmic APP, a digital learning platform for social entrepreneurship education. The seizmic APP helps students and early-stage founders develop social business models by working systematically with societal problems, solutions, impact logic, value propositions, funding models, stakeholder engagement, and implementation pathways. The platform supports users in transforming societal challenges into viable entrepreneurial initiatives while maintaining a clear focus on social and environmental impact. Through the AURORA seizmic KIC project, the platform will be further integrated with AURORA educational activities, EIT KIC resources, entrepreneurship courses, incubators, and accelerator programmes across Europe. The selected candidate will play an important role in supporting this integration process and ensuring that faculty members, students, and innovation support units are able to effectively utilize the platform within their educational and entrepreneurial activities.

The selected candidate will be employed on site at Copenhagen Business School and will support the overall coordination and implementation of the project across all participating partners. The position requires a candidate who can work effectively across academic, administrative, technological, and ecosystem facing environments while ensuring that project activities progress in a structured and consistent manner. The expected starting date is 1 October 2026 or soon thereafter.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  1. coordinating project activities across partner universities, EIT KICs, work package leaders, faculty members, and innovation support units.
  2. supporting the onboarding and engagement of faculty and administrative staff involved in the project and the implementation of the seizmic APP.
  3. coordinating training activities, workshops, meetings, and implementation processes related to the project.
  4. monitoring project milestones, deliverables, key performance indicators (KPIs), and timelines.
  5. preparing project documentation, meeting materials, internal communications, and reporting contributions.
  6. supporting quality assurance activities and ensuring compliance with project requirements and reporting procedures.
  7. contributing to the integration of the seizmic APP with educational programmes, entrepreneurship courses, incubators, accelerators, and EIT KIC activities across the AURORA Alliance.
  8. facilitating collaboration among academic, administrative, technological, and external ecosystem stakeholders.
  9. supporting communication activities, dissemination efforts, and partner engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
