We are over 130 fulltime employees at MSC, who all work with research, teaching and administration. MSC is located in Dalgas Have, Frederiksberg. We are looking for a student assistant to support a group of researchers. The assistance is related to both administrative and research related tasks. The research area is within sustainability and the green transition at the university. Priority will be given to candidates with knowledge of and experience in this field.

The tasks includes but are not limited to:

  • Organize internal communication related to sustainability initiatives on the department level.
  • Arrange and host events for internal and external staff.
  • Design and texting of physical and digital communication.
  • Synthesize and process quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Connecting with other academic institutions and attending key external events/meetings/conferences
  • providing open and thorough input during meetings

Highly valued qualifications:
  • You take initiave and are creative
  • sufficient attention to detail,
  • academic background in humanities or social science subjects e.g. literature, communication, journalism, climate change or similar
  • comprehensive communication skills
  • good writing and editing skills, English (working language)
  • natural ability to network and identify opportunities across diverse groups
  • knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. adobe cc, canva)
  • high drive for continuous learning
  • Sees opportunities in packaging extensive and complex information in a clear manner for diverse and highly specialized audiences (e.g. academics)
  • A natural curiosity for communication management in an academic setting

Salary and terms of employment

Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organizational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and Publicly Employed Organizations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).

The salary amounts to between DKK 132.68 and DKK 139.19 depending on previous employment with office employment experience and level of education. Pension is paid if there has been 9 months of prior employment in the public sector and you are over 20 years old, or have previously been covered by a pension scheme as part of a previous employment. The pension contribution amounts to 11.19% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a requirement that you are an active student at a higher education institution to be employed.

MSC is looking for a student assistant for a permanent position until you finish your studies.

Working hours: on average 15 hours per week

Expected Start: As soon as possible
