The Department of Operations Management invites applications for a vacant position as Instructor in Managerial Economics for a maximum of three years.

The core research areas of the Department of Operations Management covers and integrates five academic research areas: Supply Chain Management; Performance management; Innovation Management; Operations Management and Managerial Economics.

The post of Instructor is a part-time position with independent teaching responsibilities normally of elementary nature or teaching that supplement conduced teaching at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of workshops
  • Participation in workshops – primarily assisting students.

Qualifications

The applicant must either hold a Bachelor degree, have passed the first two years of a relevant Bachelor programme or have corresponding qualifications. Emphasis is placed on the applicant’s teaching potential.

Appointment and salary

Appointment and salary is based on the Ministry of Finance's agreement regarding student teaching assistants. Salary will only be paid for lessons taught, based on hours reported in LOENUA. At the moment the hourly rate is DKK 248,01 and pension at 1,78 pct.
