The IT University in Copenhagen has a vacant part-time position as student assistant at the department of Computer Science. The position is time-limited and runs from 15 August 2023 til 31 December. The objective of the position is to maintain and update the Teknosofikum plantform.

About the job
Teknosofikum is an interdisciplinary project in collaboration with the Royal Danish Academy, Design School Kolding, University of Copenhagen - Faculty of Law, and IT University of Copenhagen. Together with the four partner institutions, the project creates an innovative approach to technology education for teachers in higher education in Denmark.

We work with an agile mindset, design-based research, and mutual trust to develop the project together. You are interested in maintaining and updating the Teknosofikum platform, which is developed in Moodle. This involves setting up new course content, videos, and documenting flow and user interactions with the platform. There will be a weekly follow-up with the project manager by agreement.

Job tasks
We expect you most of the skills and interest below – in particular experience with Moodle development:

  • Hands-on experience with Moodle development
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and the ability to use them independently
  • Analytically strong, independent and curious
  • Interested in learning platforms and technologies and in learning to work on a complex project with multiple stakeholders
  • Open to other ongoing tasks outside the above

The IT University of Copenhagen (ITU) is a teaching and research-based tertiary institution concerned with information technology (IT) and the opportunities it offers. The IT University has more than 160 full-time Faculty members. Research and teaching in information technology span all academic activities which involve computers including computer science, information and media sciences, humanities and social sciences, business impact and the commercialization of IT.

Employment and remuneration
Remuneration and other employment conditions take place in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and HK.

The position is to be filled with start date 15 August 2023.
