If you are comfortable implementing deeply ambiguous projects, spearheading untested initiatives and delivering impact through explorative entrepreneurship and startup advancement activities, you could be our new Head of Ecosystem Impact.
Over the past three years Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE) at Copenhagen Business School has expanded its portfolio of projects beyond student audiences with the support of ambitious partnerships with external financing. These projects also focus on research-based innovation such as our Commercial Co-founder project, Deep Green and Open Entrepreneurship, Founder to Leader and Pollinate.
As Head of Ecosystem Impact you will support and guide the project leaders and program managers in the innovative development of novel products and services for new user groups. While the portfolio has several projects underway, the team lead will help to scope, distribute resources, and operationalize new projects. As team lead you will be a daily sparring partner, project support, budget responsible and advocate for several of the projects, both within CBS and the broader ecosystem, in addition to executing on projects you will take a lead on developing.
Your responsibilities will entail crafting strategies for programs that combine Copenhagen Business School's core academic capabilities in social sciences, with a specialised emphasis on premier program management, integration of social science research and driving CBS’s mission for societal impact and lifelong learning. It is essential that you operate well with ambiguity with an intrapreneurial approach to your practice, and can support your fellow team members in the same way.
Reporting to the Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Head of Ecosystem Impact will form part of the leadership team at CSE, working closely with the Director, Head of Development, Head of Leadership Development and Events, Ecosystem and Communications Lead to oversee the smooth operations and strategic ambitions of CSE and the CBS innovation and impact agenda.
Your areas of responsibility include:
Team Oversight
- Daily oversight and sparring on the initial development stages of new projects
- Prioritization and supporting program managers in ambiguous projects
- Quality assurance and reporting for projects
- A deep understanding of working with stakeholders, including academic community, corporate sector, students and university partners, implementing new projects and programs to the portfolio
Operations
- Budget responsibility paying attention to university policies, sustainable procurement, economies of scale, financial and time constraints, controlling costs and aligning budget expectations
- Oversee participant recruitment strategy and activities as a pipeline into CSE programs
- Maximize strategic positioning of CSE within ecosystem and contribute to excellent communication, for example where we take a clear stand in the public debate
Project strategy
- Oversee delivery of projects against agreed partner outcomes
- Assist project team with optimal data collection methods, create evaluation techniques to gauge program capabilities, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement
- Draw insights together to create analysis and reporting of short term and longitudinal program outcomes
- Collaborate with Head of Development on identifying, scoping and embedding groundbreaking new projects in entrepreneurship support
About you
Does it sound like you are our new Head of Ecosystem Impact at CSE? We’d like to hear from you if you:
- Are an experienced project team driver, enthusiastic about supporting the people in your team.
- Are experienced with the entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial journey and mindset, with 7+ years of hands-on experience.
- Have a sound understanding of entrepreneurial program design using formal and informal learning for different stages of the startup journey.
- Have prior experience with innovation and entrepreneurship tools and frameworks.
- Are a stellar communicator, as you are required to independently communicate and cooperate with various stakeholders, improve and spar on project communication efforts. It also requires you to speak and write English fluently.
- Can demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and how you have developed programs with this in mind.
- Are a supportive coach and mentor to colleagues, training others to improve their practice.
- Are comfortable in highly ambiguous environments within an institutional setting.

Conditions of employment
Employment and remuneration take place in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant organization, with a classification and remuneration depending on qualifications and experience. Upon employment, it will be possible to negotiate personal allowances. This is a full-time role situated at Frederiksberg.
The employment is externally funded and runs until June 2026 – with possibility for extending the contract with further funding opportunities.
