Department of International Economics, Government and Business (EGB) at Copenhagen Business School is looking to hire a Student Assistant, as our highly valued Student Assistant is moving abroad to pursue an internship.
Tasks will include
- Webmastering: Updating EGB’s website and posting news on EGB’s Linkedin profile
- Handling applications for Japanese Language Proficiency Test
- Handling statistics on Japanese Language Proficiency test applications and results
- Stakeholder correspondence and marketing on behalf of the Scandinavia-Japan Sasakwawa Foundation
- Setting up computers for new employees
- Helping out with practical matters at conferences and at the department in general
- Ad hoc administrative tasks and other project related tasks
What you should bring
The job as student assistant requires you to have good communication skills, as you are often asked to independently communicate and cooperate with various people. It also requires you to have good IT skills, webmaster skills and English language skills. Danish language skills are not a must but an advantage. On a more general note the job as student assistant requires that you are flexible and keep a good overview when multiple tasks need to be solved at the same time.
You are a socially competent, stable and adaptable co-worker who works well with others and do not shy away from new challenges or from practical tasks.

Conditions of employment
You are expected to work 8 hours per week on average.
Employment will take place in accordance with the HK organization agreement and the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations (OAO-S Joint Agreement).
The salary is between DKK 140,57 and DKK 147,46 per hour, depending on previous employment and level of education. A pension is paid if you have had 9 months' prior employment in the public sector or if you have previously been covered by an occupational pension scheme. The pension contribution amounts to 10.65% of the pensionable salary components.
It is a prerequisite for the employment that you are an active student at a higher education institution or at a medium-term higher education.
