We would like to invite applications for an epidemiologist position in the Lifecourse Epidemiology group.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting their own studies, for providing statistical and methodological assistance to others in the Lifecourse Epidemiology group, for contributing to work in international consortia, and for contributing to aspects of data management. The work will be conducted using data from existing Danish studies, cohorts, and registers. The work is funded by external research grants from foundations and the European Commission.

The candidate will join an integrated group of PhDs, postdocs, senior researchers and professors based at the Center. The candidate will interact with these researchers from various scientific disciplines (including biostatistics, epidemiology, health promotion and medicine) and actively contribute to the research environment at the Center.

We expect

Applicants for this research position preferably have a PhD degree in e.g., biological sciences, economics, epidemiology, or statistics, or a proven track record within one or more of these fields.

A successful applicant will have experience in epidemiological and advanced statistical techniques, the publishing process, and participation in national and/or international research collaborations. The candidate should have a successful publication record, preferably within the area of epidemiology. Good communication, writing, and organizational skills are required. The candidate will be expected to interact with the research group, collaborate with internal and external researchers and to seek grant support to expand the research program.
