BHL seeks one student assistant for challenging and creative study jobs. The successful candidates will become part of a larger innovative and academically informal research environment where researchers, PhD students, administrative staff and student assistants / project assistants work closely together.
This is a very diverse job where you have daily contact with the academic and administrative staff at one of CBS’ largest departments.
You will assist a number of tasks in connection with 1) the daily administration and development of the department; 2) two large European research projects on climate transition and entrepreneurship in creative and cultural industries, including the future of craft; and 3) administrative education support.
Your duties will include the following:
- Support the coordination and administration of research groups at the department;
- Research and data management;
- Report writing, including layout and visual presentation material;
- Support research-related tasks (such as literature review, transcription, assisted fieldwork);
- Educational administrative support.
We expect that you:
- are currently enrolled in a study program at CBS;
- have a research interest in climate transition and entrepreneurship in the creative and cultural industries;
- work independently and structured with your tasks;
- proactively engage with ideas;
- are a strong communicator;
- have some experience with writing reports and working with visual communication;
- have some experience and interest in working with Social Media;
- have methodological skills – especially qualitative methods;
- are proactive and flexible in relation to various research tasks;
- have English proficiency.
Practical information:
Start: 15 December or as soon as possible.
Workplace: BHL, Copenhagen Business School, Porcelænshaven 18B, 2000 Frederiksberg.
You are expected to work 10 to 15 hours per week on average, the workload will follow the cycle of the academic year. The salary follows the current collective agreement for student assistants.
Students that are likely to be in Copenhagen Fall 2024 as well as Spring 2025 might be prioritized.
