Student assistant opportunity in international economics research at Copenhagen Business School

Researchers at the Department of International Economics, Government and Business are hiring a Student Assistant to support researchers and projects at the department.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will collect and validate political and firm data across countries. Therefore, the work assignments require the ability to work independently and with great attention to detail. The successful candidates have strong knowledge of quantitative data and statistical methods. You are expected to have a good working understanding of the statistical software R and Microsoft Excel. Additionally, the student assistant will be expected to assist researchers at the department with an array of academic and practical tasks.
The student assistant will be working on average 8 hours per week but there is a large degree of flexibility, including during exam periods. The expected start date is mid-March 2025.

Conditions of employment
You are expected to work 8 hours per week on average.
You will be employed at Copenhagen Business School according to the joint agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Public Employees Union (HK-organisationsaftalen of Fællesoverenskomsten mellem Finansministeriet of Offentligt Ansatte Organisationer OAO-S Fællesoverenskomsten)). The salary follows the current collective agreement for student assistants; Current salary level is between DKK 140.57 and DKK 147.46 per hour and is dependent on former relevant work experience, and level of education.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student at a higher education institution.
