We are now looking for a commercially driven Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our dynamic team here at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel!
The Restaurant & Bar Manager Role
We will be undergoing a major renovation of our lobby and ground floor, turning it into the beating heart of the hotel with The Lounge Bar & Restaurant. As a Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of this new concept and shaping the experience for our guests.
As the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring exceptional service and a delightful culinary journey for our guests in The Lounge Bar & Restaurant. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of all outlets on the ground floor, implementing strategies to drive revenue and enhance guest satisfaction by delivering a hospitality experience that goes above and beyond - creating memorable moments for our guests.
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant and bar operations, including menu planning, inventory management, staff scheduling, and cost control. Implement best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and execute promotional activities, events, and initiatives that drive revenue and enhance the hotel's overall guest experience.
- Stay ahead of the curve and anticipate market shifts and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
- Proactively drive revenue with forward-thinking commercial initiatives
- Contributing to a good working environment and promoting our corporate culture and values
- Lead and manage the Food & Beverage Service Team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department
- Serve our guests in a prompt and courteous manner in accordance with our Food & Beverage service standards
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the food & drink menus items to be able to advise guests on selection and to train the team members
- As an integral part of the management team, you will work proactively to ensure the smooth running of the food and beverage operations in the restaurant
