Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant Postdoc in Management Accounting and Control at the Department of Accounting.
Core research areas of the Department are (1) financial accounting, (2) management accounting and control, (3) auditing, (4) accounting information systems and (5) corporate, all applicable to both private and public sectors. The objective of the Department is to remain and to expand its leadership role in research related to these areas in the Nordic countries and to preserve its significant international reputation for high quality research and teaching.
Teaching responsibilities of the Department comprise undergraduate and graduate teaching in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting & Control, Auditing, and Corporate Governance.

The postdoc is a non-tenured position for 2 years with research and teaching obligations.
To fulfill the research requirements of the position, the applicant chosen is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the teaching and research activities of the Department.
Qualifications
The applicant must hold a PhD or the equivalent. In assessing applications, particular emphasis will be placed on research potential.

Recruitment procedure
The Recruitment Committee will shortlist minimum two applicants; when possible five or more applicants will be shortlisted. The shortlisted applicants will be assessed by the Assessment Committee. All applicants will be notified of their status in the recruitment process shortly after the application deadline.
The applicants selected for assessment will be notified about the composition of the Assessment Committee and later in the process about the result of the assessment.
Once the recruitment process is completed each applicant will be notified of the outcome of their application.
