BEMÆRK: Ansøgningsfristen er overskredet

The Department of Marketing invites applications for a vacant position as post doc starting on 1st January 2025. The position is limited to nominally two years. The candidate will be part of the CBS local initiative: State-of-the-Art Platform for Developing and Sharing Knowledge on Value Co-Creating Pedagogies, working with both colleagues in the Department of Marketing and with CBS’s Educational Development & Quality unit. This initiative aims to develop theoretical and practical understanding of co-created learning. Concretely, the initiative will create a learning space where students are tasked with the responsibility for applying their competencies to solving real problems (strategic and tactical) of businesses and non-profits who benefit directly through a process of joint learning. The position is in Higher Education Learning Processes with a specific focus on developing and describing pedagogy that creates—simultaneously—value for all involved stakeholders: students, businesses, non-profits, and governmental organizations.

The Department of Marketing has demonstrated a strong commitment to the delivery of innovative research-based teaching and has, over the years, spearheaded several initiatives in teaching delivery, for example, blended learning and module-based teaching. Members of the department are committed to continuing this effort of which this post doc will be a part.

The post doc will be based at the Department of Marketing but will work closely with CBS’s Educational Development & Quality Unit.

The specific tasks of the post doc are:

  • Conduct a state-of-the-art audit of current value co-creating pedagogical practices.
  • Develop theoretical/conceptual models within the field of higher education pedagogy and learning theory relevant to the project and be able to setup empirical research designs for testing these models.
  • Develop deep understanding of learning processes in action through close collaboration with internal and external educators and researchers, as well as industry partners.
  • Contribute to the development of manuscripts for academic publication and/or dissemination of the project results.
  • Help develop online and offline platforms to disseminate research results.

Candidates need to hold a Ph.D., ideally from an accredited institution. They should have a strong research record (or potential) in learning processes in either higher education or organizations. Moreover, candidates should possess experience in course/workshop design and teaching experience. It is an expectation that the candidate will be physically present at the department on a regular basis.

Appointment and salary will be in accordance with the Ministry of Finance’s agreement with the Central Academic Organization.
