Department of Business Humanities and Law (BHL) at Copenhagen Business School is looking to hire a Student Assistant for working in entrepreneurship research and teaching.

The Department of Business Humanities and Law (BHL) at Copenhagen Business School is looking to hire a Student Assistant and project coordinator. The position is with Prof. Christina Lubinski and the research environment Rethinking Entrepreneurship in Society, funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. For details on the project, please see www.rethinkingentrepreneurship.com. Candidates are expected to be currently enrolled in a master’s program at Copenhagen Business School.

The budgeted time is about 15 hours a week. The selected candidate will be able to decide his/her working hours flexibly to facilitate balancing the position with classes, exams etc. Upon request, the student assistant may be able to use project data for their master’s thesis.

Tasks will include support for:

  • Research on entrepreneurship, including literature search, empirical research, publication support, etc.
  • Event management for academic conferences in Copenhagen and abroad
  • Teaching and development of teaching material, including videos and podcasts
  • Collaboration with partners in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and dissemination with stakeholders, including social media, blog posts, project presentations
  • Support for administrative activities

The assistant is expected to become a full member of the research team and joins important meetings as needed. The assistant is also invited to (but not required to attend) all meetings and seminars organised by the department (BHL) to further their own academic development.

What you should bring
The position requires excellent organization and communication skills, an autonomous work style, and the ability to network with stakeholders in the ecosystem and with academics. Proficiency in English is required. You should be willing to engage with the researchers in the research group, be flexible to complete tasks as needed, and able to coordinate multiple tasks and activities. Prior experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; experience with video editing software, recording equipment and web development are a plus. We expect a collegial and social person who does not shy away from diverse and challenging tasks and is willing to engage with entrepreneurship research and practice at an expert level.

Conditions of employment
You are expected to work 15 hours per week on average. The salary follows the current collective agreement for student assistants.
