Department of Accounting is hiring a student assistant for research and teaching projects. The student assistant is expected to assist with data management and statistical tests, as well as literature search and review. The research fields include accounting-related topics across the disciplines of management accounting, financial accounting and auditing. Studying at an accounting program is advantageous.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ad hoc assistance with research tasks, including data management, statistical tests and other analysis
- Literature search and retrieval of articles and book chapters
- Initial organization and review of literature
- Ad hoc assistance with teaching-related tasks
About You:
- You are a student with an interest in (and ability to) read scientific articles and have experience with literature search.
- You are proactive, enthusiastic, and can work independently, but also as part of a research team, contributing to the development of data foundations and analyses.
- We also expect you to have strong written communication skills in English.

Salary and Employment Conditions:
- Working hours are expected to be around 10 hours per week.
- Salary is according to the current HK-student rate.
